Today I read Emerson's essay called On Self- Reliance. So far I'm actually interested in what he had to say about a persons' own thought. I also agree with him because I feel like people are afraid of expressing their own thoughts and opinion. For example, in class when a teacher asks the class if we have any questions no one really raises their hands. I know I had some questions on things I didn't really understand.
