Today in class my instructor put on a video about Martin Luther King Jr. and his I Have A Dream Speech. As a class we had to analyze and really think about what he is saying through out the video. While watching it I also realized that his speech was a great example of Ethos, Logos, and Pathos. To begin with we all know Ethos mean credibility like for example he's speech is about a country with equal rights towards the African American people. Dr.King Jr was knowledgeable about the withering injustice towards his people since he also experienced first hand made him a credible person. Next up is Logos and what we know about Logos is that it's the evidence or reasoning behind the point being made. Something that I remember was that Dr.King Jr himself went to jail several times. There was also rules against blacks where they couldn't use the same restrooms, restaurants, and just public places in general. The last one is Pathos and it is used by moving the reader with emotions. During his speech he used many sophisticated words which changed the diction. The words you chose really changes the feel and understanding of the argument you're trying to make.
