The Socratic Method is a form of dialogue used between two individuals which involve critical thinking to draw out new ideas and question ones way of thinking. Using this method in a classroom setting could be very beneficial to many students by making them question their own thoughts and feelings. If we all share our ideas we can come to an understanding and maybe even look at things in a different perspective. On the other hand, students may find this method a little harsh and might take it the wrong way. Since it involves them to think very hard about their thoughts they could get lost in the way they feel. It could discourage them from wanting them to learn.
